The MINI-FIT Program

The MINI-FIT program was developed as an introduction to physical activity. It creates a fun environment for any child who needs to be active and develop his/her self-esteem. The sessions are positive and energy-driven!

Age group:
The program is designed for children aged 5 to 8 regardless of their current physical fitness capabilities.

Goals and benefits:

✔ Improve basic skills (i.e., kicking, throwing, catching and jumping)
✔ Better the child’s cardiovascular fitness and agility
✔ Develop and improve eye-hand coordination
✔ Better the child’s posture and balance
✔ Increase concentration
✔ Integrate some breathing techniques to center the mind
✔ Develop problem-solving skills
✔ Learn about fitness, mindfulness and healthy eating habits
✔ Begin to understand and follow rules

The trainers will take time to correct form and movements. They will instill discipline and hard work, while consistently striving for an enjoyable and fun experience.

Length of sessions:
The sessions are 45 minutes.

The program will be more beneficial if participation is more than once a week.
